2019 Annual Banquets
At Collage, we believe we’ve been given a unique opportunity to partner with our communities as we serve those who are facing the reality of sexually transmitted diseases, unexpected pregnancies or struggles with a past pregnancy decision.
We’ve seen firsthand the pressure that these situations put women and men under. Pressure to make a hasty decision, pressure on relationships with their partner and family, and pressure and guilt about past decisions. We believe that everyone deserves someone to come beside them when they feel that pressure. Someone who reaffirms that they have beauty and value. Someone who will face the pressure standing next to them.
We’re thrilled to have former NFL quarterback Jeff Kemp as our keynote speaker this year. In his 11 seasons, Jeff quarterbacked for the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Philadelphia Eagles. He and his father, Jack Kemp (the former Vice-Presidential candidate and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development), were the first of only six sets of father/son NFL quarterbacks.
Jeff’s book, Facing the Blitz, illustrates how every trial is an opportunity to flourish and what looks like the worst play can actually become the best – it’s creating beauty from the unexpected in football terms!
Jeff has delivered thousands of presentations, including IBM, Northwestern Mutual, Athletes in Action Super Bowl breakfasts, and with Billy Graham. He’s a champion for strengthening marriages, families, and teams. He and his wife Stacy also speak for the Family Life Weekend to Remember marriage getaways.
Will you be a part of the impact Collage is making in both the Grand Island and Kearney areas? Maybe Collage is new to you. If so, joining us at one of our fundraising banquets is a great way to learn more. Maybe you haven’t attended a banquet recently. If so, joining us may remind you that you can make an incredible difference in people’s lives, right here, right now! When we come together as a team, we can help those facing the “blitz” turn trials into triumphs and create beauty from the unexpected.
Thanks to some generous donors who are contributing to the cost of these events, there is no charge to attend. An opportunity to make a financial gift will be extended so we can continue our work.
Due to limited space, both events are reserved seating only as well as adults only.
If you would like to make a reservation for the Kearney banquet on Tuesday, April 2, please call 308.236.9248 by Tuesday, March 26.
If you would like to make a reservation for the Grand Island banquet on Thursday, April 4, please call 308.675.2217 by Thursday, March 28.
