It’s Almost #GivingTuesday and Another Opportunity to #DoubleTheHope
Can you believe it’s almost #GivingTuesday again?
On Tuesday, November 29 we invite you to join us for Collage’s second annual #GivingTuesday campaign where you can #DoubleTheHope we provide to our community.
What is #GivingTuesday? Great question. Here’s a little video that will explain what the day is about, but be sure to read the rest of the post to see how Collage is using this special day to make an impact in Kearney and Grand Island by doubling your gift.
Last year we weren’t quite sure what to expect on #GivingTuesday to be honest. We had a few generous donors who had offered matching gifts that allowed us to literally #DoubleTheHope for our clients. By the end of the day we had raised almost $25,000. We were blown away by the generosity of our community. You see, each ultrasound we provide at no charge to our clients, costs about $100. That amount paid for 250 of the complimentary ultrasounds Collage performs.
As we were preparing for the upcoming 2016 #GivingTuesday, we had another donor offer to match up to $25,000! That means if we can raise the same amount we did last year, it will double to $50,000! And that means we will be able to provide 500 ultrasounds in 2017.
So on November 29th, you have a unique opportunity to #DoubleTheHope and make an enormous impact across central Nebraska.
We’d be honored if you would join us. You can make a donation on November 29 at https://collagecenter.com/donate/ or you can drop a donation off to either of our locations in Kearney or Grand Island. We want you to know that every donation makes a difference, no matter the size. If you’re on social media, we would also ask that you help spread the news about Collage’s #GivingTuesday campaign. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram where we’ll be posting images and information leading up to and during #GivingTuesday that you can share.
If you’re interested in becoming a promo partner and helping spread the word about our #DoubleTheHope campaign you can find more information here.
