Choose Love – 2018 Annual Fundraising Banquets
“Children, all your life you will be faced with a choice. You can choose love or hate. And I choose love.” – Johnny Cash
In a world that seems to become more divided every day, where anger and frustration bubble over and spill into the lives of those around us, it’s more important than ever to remember that love is a choice. A choice we’re presented every minute of every day, but one we must choose intentionally.
As we contemplated the theme for our 2018 Collage Banquets, we realized that at the core of what we do is our decision to choose love. To choose to love our clients, our co-workers, our supporters and our communities.
At Collage we believe there’s beauty and value in every single person. This belief is what guides us. It shapes who we are and what we do. But, recognizing the value and unique beauty of each person who walks through our door is only the beginning. As each client comes to Collage, we’re confronted with a choice of how we respond. And we choose love.
We choose to see beyond their circumstance; an STD, an unexpected pregnancy or a struggle with a past pregnancy decision. We choose to see the beauty, to see through the pain to the person inside. We choose love.
And this year we ask you to join us in choosing love. Our fundraising banquets this year will be April 10 in Grand Island and April 12 in Kearney. We’ll share real-life stories that convey our call to choose love. Through our guest speaker, Vietnam War veteran Dave Roever, and through those who’ve been impacted by Collage, you’ll see how our communities have partnered with us to create beauty from the unexpected.
Both events are reserved seating only, so please call soon to save your spot. For the Grand Island banquet, call 308.675.2217 by April 5. And for the Kearney banquet, call 308.236.9248 by April 9.
Thanks to some incredibly generous donors who have contributed toward the cost of these events, there is no charge to attend. An opportunity to make a financial gift will be extended so we can continue our work.
Collage is a non-profit organization that relies on the generous support of our donors to be able to provide all of our services at no charge to those who need our help. We can’t do it alone. It’s your belief in what we do and your financial partnership that make it all possible. Thank you!
