HPV

What is HPV and how can I get it? Can I reduce the rick of getting HPV?

If I get pregnant and have HPV, can it be transferred to my baby?

How do I get HPV? How can I reduce the risk of getting HPV? If I get pregnant, will my baby get HPV? If I am in a monogamous relationship and my partner is diagnosed with HPV, does that mean that he/she has cheated on me? Will condoms help protect against HPV? Dr. Michele Krieger, who performs ultrasounds at Collage Center, will address all of these questions and more in the following video! Check it out!

Very well done video! Very well done! I have an ongoing concern regarding the Gardasil (SP?) promotions right now. I believe there is a false sense of “safety” being communicated. While HPV is the most common STD, those that carry it may also carry other STD’s. Gardasil will not protect one against those other STD’s. Thanks for emphasizing a life-long monogamous relationship or abstinence as the best solution.
