Meet Annette Holzinger, Collage’s New Client Relations Coordinator in Grand Island
We’re so excited to introduce you to Annette Holzinger, our new Client Relations Coordinator for our Grand Island Center. She is an amazing gal and we know that all of our clients are going to love her!
Annette, we’re so glad you are part of the Collage team, what do you love most about your job?
I’m so happy to be the Client Relations Coordinator for the Collage Center in Grand Island!! I really enjoy meeting new people and have already met so many fantastic people! I love just doing life with the people that are placed in my path.
What attracted you to Collage and your role here?
Since my life has been touched so profoundly by caring people, it’s been on my ‘bucket list’ to be involved in some way with providing help to people who find themselves in unexpected situations. I had always hoped I would be able to give back to someone because I’ve been given so very much and working at Collage meets that desire perfectly.
Tell us a bit about your education and professional background.
I am a graduate of Ravenna High School and have enjoyed working in various secretarial and accounting positions. I was blessed to have spent some years at home when our children were young before returning to work on a part time basis then more recently transitioned to full time.
How about your family? Tell us more about them.
My wonderful husband, Darrell and I have been married for nearly 31 years and have been blessed with a beautiful daughter, Jamie, and handsome son, Darren. We also have an active little grandson who keeps us on our toes. Much to our delight, both our kids and their families live and work in Grand Island!
Other than being Grandma, what hobbies do you have outside of work?
I always enjoy trekking along with my husband on his various escapades. I never know where we’ll end up. 🙂 And time spent with other family and friends brings me great happiness as well!
What do you love most about living in central Nebraska and/or being involved in the community of Grand Island?
I think Nebraska really is the good life. My parents still farm (nearly 60 years) on the little farm north of Ravenna where I was raised with my four brothers. I love the small town feel of neighbors & friends who know all there is to know about one another and still love them.
What are you the most hopeless at doing?
If you want to see me turn 50 shades of red, put me in front of group of people and ask me to give a talk.
What were the last 2 books you read?
I was really moved by When a Nation Forgets God: 7 Lessons We Must Learn From Nazi Germany. I am currently rereading a really intriguing book called The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life and not get sick of it, what would it be?
SOUP!! I can eat most any kind of soup year round!
Thanks Annette. We’ve loved learning more about you and we just know that our clients in Grand Island are going to love you as well.
